Commercial Works

Our commercial clients include landlords, managing agents, property companies, pub and hospitality operators, office occupiers, retail units, care homes and student accommodation providers across Manchester and Cheshire. Commercial work is judged differently from domestic work: the building usually has to keep operating, tenants, staff and customers still need access. the cost of downtime is measured in lost trading rather than inconvenience.

We plan around that reality. Works are programmed to suit your opening hours or tenancy arrangements, noisy and disruptive activity is grouped into the least damaging parts of the day. areas are kept safe and presentable while work is in progress. Entrances and fire routes are kept clear at all times, work areas are separated and signed. everything is left secure at the end of each shift. Whether it is a single unit needing attention or a rolling programme of improvements across several properties, you deal with one contractor who already knows your sites.

Because we also carry out groundworks and drainage, a commercial instruction does not have to be split between a building contractor and a separate groundwork firm. Interior refurbishment, external hardstanding, drainage investigation and site clearance can all sit under a single quotation and programme.

Commercial work is planned before it is priced. We look at how the building operates, when it can be worked in and what has to stay accessible throughout, then set a programme that fits around trading, tenancies or term dates.

Because we also carry out general building works, groundworks and drainage, a commercial instruction does not have to be split between several contractors. Interior refurbishment, external hardstanding, drainage investigation, roofline work and site clearance can all sit under a single quotation, programme and point of contact. Landlords, managing agents and property operators can also arrange work as a rolling programme across a portfolio, with agreed pricing held for the term of the arrangement.
