Play Area Fitting

• Preparation and formation of the area - clearance, excavation, sub-base, compaction and setting of levels
• Correct surfacing specified and installed under and around equipment, with falls and level tolerances suitable for the equipment and age group
• Fitting and fixing of play structures, posts, frames and fixings to the prepared base
• Edging, kerbs, borders and retaining edges to contain the surfacing and define the area
• Drainage provision so the area stays usable after rain rather than standing wet

Swings, Climbing Frames and Equipment

• Installation of swing frames, including correct footing and fixing detail for the loads involved
• Climbing frames, trim trails, balancing equipment, slide supports and multi-play structures
• Seating and picnic units, bins, signage and finishing items
• Assembly and fixing carried out as part of the wider site work, rather than a separate visit to bolt items down

Commercial Play Areas

• Play and recreation areas for commercial clients - hospitality venues, holiday and leisure sites, schools and nurseries, care settings and housing developments
• Outdoor play spaces alongside hardstanding, paths, fencing, seating and lighting provision
• Areas kept usable wherever possible during the works, with the programme arranged around your opening hours
• A single contractor responsible for the groundwork, the surfacing and the installation

Play projects only work if the ground is prepared properly, the fixings are right, the surfacing performs as it should and the finished area is safe and level for the age group using it. Because the groundwork, drainage, edging and surfacing are all handled by us, equipment is installed onto a base we have prepared, which removes the problem of splitting responsibility between a groundworker who sets the levels and an installer who finds them wrong.

We work around your opening hours wherever possible and phase larger areas in sections so the site stays usable throughout. Clients include hospitality venues, holiday and leisure sites, schools and nurseries, care settings and housing developments. the finished installation can be combined with hardstanding, paths, fencing, seating and drainage works carried out on the same visit.
